Egypt have lost their second group game in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, losing 2-1 to Iraq in Antalya, Turkey.
Iraq has gone to the top of Group E with a 2-1 victory over Egypt that leaves the Pharaohs on the brink of an early exit from the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Mohanad Abdulraheem scored a 79th winner as Hakeem Shaker’s side again came from behind at Antalya’s Akdeniz University Stadium to move ahead of Chile at the top of the section on goals scored.
Egypt must now beat England on Saturday if they are to have any chance of progressing to the last 16, while Iraq face Chile in a match that could determine who wins the group.
