Egypt vs Uganda Friendly Game Preview | 2013

Egypt will play Uganda in preparation for 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The friendly is to kick-off at 16:30 Cairo time (GMT+2) in a Gouna Stadium in Hurghada, 430 kilometers from the capital, Cairo, due to security concerns during current political conflicts in the country.

Egypt will play without 13 of the Pharaohs’ Ahly and Zamalek players, as they will be playing Saturday in their third round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Ahly players missing are keeper Sherif Ekrami; defender Wael Gomaa; Rami Rabia; Ahmed Shedid and midfielders Walid Soliman and Mohamed Abou-Treika.

From Zamalek, Egypt will miss keeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed, defenders Omar Gaber and Mohamed Abdel-Shafy, striker Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek.

Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohammady and Madeira Ali Ghazal will also miss the game due to injury.

Egypt secured a place in the World Cup qualifiers playoff after ensuring they would finish on top of Group G with one game to spare.
