The Pharaohs maintain their 100% record in the qualifiers with a 4-2 home victory over Guinea in their last Group G game.
Egypt, who already made it to the playoffs ahead of the game, now became the only team to maintain a 100% record in the World Cup qualifiers, claiming their 18th point in Group G.
Mohamed Abou-Treika marked his 100th international game with a goal and two assists to steer Egypt to a 4-2 home victory over Guinea in the final World Cup qualifying group game.
Guinea surprisingly took the lead early in the game, thanks to an own goal from Brighton center-half Adam El-Abd, who made his competitive debut for Egypt.
Hossam Ghaly, however, drew level on 38 minutes before Treika put his side ahead few minutes after the interval through a penalty kick, which saw defender Kamil Zayatte sent off after handling a goal-bound shot.
But another blunder from El-Abd allowed midfielder Seydouba Soumah to restore parity before two Treika set up Basel star Mohamed Salah and Amr Zaki with late goals.
