English Premier League side Cardiff City have entered the race to sign Nigerian international defender Joseph Yobo from Turkish side Fernebache.The Welsh side are returning for the defender after failing to sign him in the summer.
The defender is desperate to leave Fernebache in the winter transfer window to get regular playing time elsewhere in order to boost his
chances of making Nigerias World Cup squad. The 32-year old defender is also courted by several Turkish club.
Yobo has not featured for the Super Eagles since the 2013 Afcon triumph though head coach Stephen Keshi has maintained the defender remains part of his plans.
