Due to their participation in African tournaments, Ahly and Zamalek players will miss Egypt’s friendlies against Chile and Jamaica; long-time first choice goalkeeper El-Hadary has been recalled.
Shawky Gharib has excluded Ahly and Zamalek players from his team’s final squad for the two upcoming friendly games against Chile and Jamaica in London on 30 May and 4 June respectively.
The Pharaohs will face Chile and Jamaica in friendlies as part of their preparations for the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Under the helm of coach Gharib, Egypt is hoping to begin a new era as it prepares for the African Cup of Nations in Morocco in July 2015.
