Egypt vs Jamaica June 4th 2014 | Match Preview

The pharaohs will meet Jamaica’ The Reggae Boyz in london on June 4th 2014.

Egypt coach Shawky Gharib has hailed his players despite Saturday’s loss to Chile, vowing to amend his team’s mistakes in the near future.

The Pharaohs failed to give Gharib a second win in as many matches after throwing away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 in World Cup-bound Chile at an exciting friendly in Santiago.

We will try to make the best use of the Jamaica friendly to stop our defensive errors ahead of the African qualifiers. Also we will give a chance for some new faces, as Ahly and Zamalek players will not be available due to their club’s continental commitments,” Gharib told Egyptian TV.

The loss to Chile was Egypt’s first defeat under Gharib, who took over after American tactician Bob Bradley departed following his failure to guide the World Cup-hungry side to next month’s Brazil finals.
