Rami Rabiea
Rabiea, 21, has been targeted by Sporting for a possible transfer this summer, with Ahli requesting an official bid.
Even though the Portuguese giants seem to have issued an offer, Ahli are still uninterested in opening talks.
Sporting have offered 550,000 Euros, which is not convincing for Ahly.
Al Ahly have set a 1.5M Euros price tag for the young star defender.
He is a key player for Al Ahly. Al Ahly responded with a counter offer of 1.5M Euros.
Rabiea is currently considered a key member of the Egypt squad, with manager Shawki Gharib deploying him at center-half.
The highly-rated defender is versatile enough to play at right back and central midfield.
Ahmed Fathi:
Ahly’s midfielder Ahmed Fathi revealed on Monday that he has not signed a contract with Saudi side Ittihad Jeddah.
The international midfielder has been heavily tipped to join the Saudi giants as his contract with Ahly expires at the end of this season and he has so far refused to sign a new contract with the Cairo side.
The 29-year-old made it clear that no decision has been made yet regarding his future.
“I didn’t sign for Ittihad Jeddah,” Fathi told the club’s official website on Monday.
“My contract with Ahy will expire at the end of this season and I will decide my future then.”
