Al Ahly 2-0 El Gouna FC | Match Video Review
Ahly have pulled off a 2-0 victory away from home at Gouna to hand the coastal side their first home defeat in the Egyptian league on Saturday.
A first half goal from up-and-coming full-back Hussein El-Sayed and a late second from Emad Meteb were enough to give Ahly all three points after the hosts gave the reigning champions some hard time after the break.
Meteb had a late second-half penalty denied by Gouna keeper Amer Mohamed before making amends in the third minute of a five-minute stoppage time.
The Cairo giants, who still have three games in hand, moved fourth of the league table on 27 points, seven adrift of leaders Zamalek who meet sixth-placed Petrojet later in the day.
