Seven players from the current squad have been dropped while new signing Moemen Zakareya is included in the 23-man provisional list.

Burkinabe midfielder Moussa Yedan seems on his way out of Ahly after being dropped from a 23-man squad that will play in the African Champions League due to kick off next month.

The 25-year old midfielder – who joined Ahly in January 2014 – has failed to make his mark at the Egyptian giants and since the arrival of Juan Carlos Garrido last summer he has made a handful of appearances.
