Mohamed Salah voted best Serie A signing

Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah was voted the best signing for the Serie A 2015 transfers by Gazzetta readers after scoring four goals in six games – three of which were appearances off the substitutes bench.

Lukas Podolski voted worst

The German striker has lost his way after making a promising debut against Juventus, with sections of the Inter support beginning to criticise his performances in Serie A.

Podolski, on loan from Arsenal, has been told by manager Roberto Mancini that he ‘isn’t doing enough and ‘needs to do more’.

And a poll conducted by Gazzetta dello Sport has seen him voted as the second worst January signing with 35.5% – just behind fellow flop Alessio Cerci (46%).
