The Egyptian winger is ready to face Juventus in first leg of the Coppa Italia semis.
Italy Seire A champions Juventus have revealed they are wary of Egypt winger Mohamed Salah ahead of their game against Fiorentina in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semis on Thursday, believing he is one of the most dangerous players in the Viola squad since he arrived last winter.
The 22-year-old attacker has produced a string of strong displays with the Viola since his arrival last month on loan from Chelsea, scoring four goals in six appearances on all fronts.
“Salah is one of the most dangerous players in purple: 4 goals and 1 assist in six games for the Egyptian,” read a statement on Juventus official Twitter account ahead of the game.
Salah joined Fiorentina on loan from English Premier League leaders Chelsea last January until the end of the season after failing to book a regular place in the Blues’ squad under coach Jose Mourinho.
Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has expressed his delight with Mohamad Salah’s performance at the club, calling on him to “keep going this way.”
The Viola defeated Roma 2-0 in the Coppa Italia 16th round and booked their place in the tournament semis against Juventus who suffered to beat Parma last January.
