Egyptian striker and Rio Ave top scorer Ahmed Koka was stretchered off in his side’s Portuguese league game at home to Benfica on Saturday after sustaining an injury.
Koka fell awkwardly in the halfway line as he changed direction to escape his marker. He was replaced with Portuguese forward Ukra seven minutes before the break.
It’s not immediately clear whether the injury he picked up is serious.
