Salah is on fire in Italy, scoring six times in 11 appearances, and his form has caught the attention of German giants Wolfsburg and Italian pair Roma and Juventus.
But Tuttomercatoweb reports that Fiorentina hold all the cards over his future.
As part of the club’s original loan deal with Chelsea, Salah’s spell can be extended for a further season at a cost of just £750,000.
And in the following season Fiorentina have the option to tie up a permanent deal for Salah if they part with a further £11.7m.
Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella will be looking to keep Salah.
The Italian recently compared the loan man to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
Montella said: “For now, we have benefited. We knew the superb characteristics of the player, but we did not expect him to have such an impact on Italian football.
“Perhaps only Messi is faster than him with the ball at one’s feet.”
Chelsea are keeping tabs on Salah’s progress and Blues boss Jose Mourinho recently admitted the 22-year-old was playing well.
He said: “He’s doing well with La Viola, let’s hope that continues because it is just what we wanted when we wanted to send him to Florence.”
