The national teams coming camp will be without the foreign-based players as it will be outside of FIFA’s agenda.
Egypt are scheduled to face Kuwait in May and the EFA is in talks with the Gulf country to change the friendly date to 10 May instead of 8 May.
Egyptian Football Association (EFA) President Gamal Allam has promised his full support for Egypt’s new coach Hector Cuper after his perfect start with the Pharaohs by beating Equatorial Guinea at Cairo’s Petrosport Stadium.
“Cuper quickly managed to put his own impact on the players’ performance in just five days of training. He made a perfect formation, from both local and foreign-based players, in record time,” Allam said.
“The EFA board will offer full support to the national team in the coming period,” he added.
