Zamalek are not taking anything for granted as they face DR Congo’s Sanga Balende on Sunday but they look farther than their unfancied opponents in pursuit of their first African Confederation Cup title.
The Cairo giants, who look formidable this term, take on Sanga away from home in the first leg of the competition’s round of 16 as they seek to reach the group stage after overcoming Rwanda’s Rayon Sports and Morocco’s FUS Rabat in the previous rounds.
Starting lineup:
Zamalek: Ahmed El-Shennawy; Hamada Toulba, Ali Gabr, Mohamed Kofi, Hazem Emam; Ahmed Tawfik, Ibrahim Salah, Mostafa Fathi, Maarouf Youssef; Khaled Kamar, Bassem Morsi
Venue: Stade Tshikisha (Mbuji-Mayi)
