Mohamed Salah needs a few days to think about Viola’s offer

Fiorentina have reportedly reached an agreement with Premier League champions Chelsea to extend their loan deal for Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah.

According to a report by Italian website calcioweb on Saturday, the Viola officials have agreed to extend Salah’s loan for another year, but the player has taken a few days off to decide on his future.

On Friday, another report in Italian media claimed that Fiorentina have been informed by Chelsea that they will have to pay around 20 million euros if they wish to secure a permanent transfer for loanee Salah.

In other reports Tottenham are showing an interest in winger Mohamed Salah, who is set to leave Chelsea this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino is targeting players under the age of 28 this summer as he persists with the high-intensity strategy that has been a feature of Spurs’ season.

And Salah, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina, is on the White Hart Lane club’s radar.

Fiorentina, who were recently eliminated from the Europa League semis, lie fifth in the Italian league table with 61 points, 25 behind leaders and champions Juventus.
