RSC Anderlecht are keen on signing Al Ahlys midfielder Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” for USD 2.5 Million.
The player also known as Trezeguet has been touted by Anderlecht as a possible signing this summer.
The report revealed that Ahly received an earlier bid of 700,000 Euro (7868105.00 US Dollar) offer that could reach 1 million Euro (1124015.00 US Dollar) according to the player’s possible appearances with Anderlecht.
However, Ahly are reported to have turned down the offer and are attempting to persuade the 22-year-old midfielder to stay put with the club for one more season then Anderlecht send another offer of USD 2.5 Million and still waiting for Al Ahly’s answer.
The Red Devils are aiming at rebuilding their squad as they want to bounce back to top of Egyptian and African Football.
The eight-time African Champions have been knocked out of the Champions League at early stages over the past two years, and are currently 11 points behind leaders Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League.
Hassan has been a rising figure among the new generation taking over at Ahly following the retirement of iconic figures like Mohamed Abou-Treika, Mohamed Barakat and Wael Gomaa, and he has established himself as one of the key figures at Ahly.
