Mohamed Salah has veto over any agreement -Agent

Chelsea winger Mo Salah’s relationship with loan club Fiorentina has descended into farce with the Italian club threatening legal action after he refused to sign with them for next season.

The Egyptian star’s agent hit back in furious fashion on Friday, labelling the Florence side ‘pathetic’ and implying that their ‘moral and professional values’ were not in line with what the player expected.

Salah has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs after a successful loan spell with La Viola in the second half of last season, and Fiorentina have been keen to hang on to him.

The deal with Chelsea included an option for a further year for a £1million fee but Salah is understood to have the power of veto over any agreement.

Juventus and Inter Milan have both been linked to the 23-year-old, while his agent says he has offers from abroad, all of which led to repeated offers from Fiorentina being rejected.

Fiorentina issued a statement on Friday saying they would be consulting with lawyers over what action to take to ‘protect the club’s rights’.
But Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, released a statement of his own slamming the Italians for their behaviour.
