The 27 year-old Egyptian can play right midfield, right wing back or even right back at a push.
He has a year left on his contract but is seemingly keen to avoid the Championship following Hull’s relegation two months ago.
He certainly boasts plenty of Premier League experience after spells with Sunderland as well as Hull.
Newcastle and Watford are reported by the Mail to also be sniffing around for a player expected to have something like a £3m price tag round his neck.
