Paris Saint-Germain have moved ahead of Arsenal in the pursuit to sign Faouzi Ghoulam from Napoli.
The Gunners reportedly had a bid rejected by the Serie A club for the full-back earlier this summer and now PSG are firm favourites to land the Algerian.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the French champions have made contact with Napoli regarding a transfer and a fee of around £10.5m has been mooted.
PSG boss Laurent Blanc is eager to recruit a full-back with Lucas Digne believed to be on his way out of the Parc des Princes.
The 24-year-old has made 60 appearances for Napoli and has a contract until 2018 with the club.
