Mohamed Salah Scores his 2nd Goal for Roma

FT: Sampdoria 2-1 Roma

Mohamed Salah’s volley was a wonderful way to equalize for Roma 1-1 in the 69′ minute.

Pjanic rolled across with the outside of his right boot for Salah to smash into the roof of the net from 12 yards.

Roma fought back at Marassi only to capitulate 2-1 against Sampdoria with a comical Kostas Manolas own goal.

The Giallorossi needed to get back on track after a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo at the weekend, but missed Francesco Totti, Antonio Rudiger and Wojciech Szczesny, so Daniele De Rossi moved into a centre-back role. Samp suffered their first defeat of the Serie A season at the weekend and were forced to do without Angelo Palombo, Lorenzo De Silvestri and Mattia Cassani, but Joaquin Correa started in the trequartista role.

Roma were unbeaten in this fixture since February 2013, picking up a 2-0 win and goalless draw, but famously lost at home to Samp last season.
