Former Chelsea and France winger Florent Malouda has joined Wadi Degla on a six-month deal.

Degla, who made their top flight debut in the 2009-2010 season, announced a few days ago that they were in line to sign a world-class attacker.

And as it turned out, the 35-year-old Malouda was the high-profile forward to join the side, coming from Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos – who are managed by Brazil legend Roberto Carlos.
