Elmohamady: “I like it here at Hull City”
Elmohamady is really happy with Hull City & ready to extending his contract for another year.
“I want to stay, of course,” Elmohamady told Hull Daily Mail Wednesday.
“Why not? I have been here for four years and really enjoyed it. It’s a good club with good fans and good players. It’s been the best four years for me as a player and the club has done well. I hope we can get everything sorted,” Elmohamady said.
“We were talking around January about a contract, and then the manager was talking to me after that, but we decided to leave everything until after the final. We will start talking again soon and hopefully get everything sorted.”
The 28-year-old player, who inspired the Tigers into twice win promotion out of the Championship, will see his contract expire next month.
“It’s unbelievable. My second promotion is a great achievement, especially, at Wembley. It feels more amazing than last time. This promotion feels better. It has been such a long season for us all but we’ve got the job done and we’re back in the Premier League. It’s not easy to go straight back up. You need big players and we showed that we’ve got them. It’s an amazing feeling.”
Elmohamady has played with Hull since August 2012 when he was initially on loan from Sunderland before a permanent £2m switch three years ago.
He always gains praise from manager Steve Bruce.
“He [Bruce] is a very experienced manager, with over 800 games, so he knows what he is doing,” Elmohamady said.
“I think he’s the best man for the club. He knows this club inside and out. He’s the best person to manage the club at the moment. All the players like him,” the Egyptian concluded.
