Defending champions Al Ahly will face Wadi Degla tonight (Wednesday), wishing to continue their winning start to the season at the expense of a side that prevailed in their last meeting.
Wadi Degla snatched a last-gasp 1-0 victory in May last season, thanks to a 95th-minute winner from Junior Mapuku. Al Ahly still went on to claim their ninth title in 10 seasons while Degla, who notably improved under French coach Patrice Carteron, finished fifth.
