Egypt are thirsting for revenge on Ghana, November 13th 2016 in Alexandria
Egypt will have a chance to avenge the 2014 WCQ exit at the hands of Ghana after both sides were paired in a qualifying group for the 2018 Russia finals following Fridays draw that took place in Cairo.
Egypt coach Hector Cuper says it is irrelevant that 2018 World Cup qualifying opponents Ghana humiliated the North Africans three years ago, declaring: We fear no team.”
The two countries were placed in Group E with Republic of Congo and Uganda when 20 nations were split into five groups this weekend, with the winners going to the finals in Russia.
