Ahly advanced to the Egypt Cup quarters after claiming an easy 2-1 over Dakhleya in the competition’s round of 16 on Wednesday.
Striker Amr Gamal opened the scoring in the 32 minute when he side-footed Junior Ajayi’s low cross into the empty net.

Skipper Hossam Ghaly doubled the seal, four minutes after the break, with a nice shot from inside the area giving his side a comfortable advantage.

Ahly, who are bidding for their first Egypt Cup since 2007, will face Wadi Degla in the quarters.
