Egypt coach Hector Cuper has decided the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against Tunisia on the opening match-day of the Group J qualifiers for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

“I set Egypt’s starting lineup for the game against Tunisia but I won’t announce it waiting for any unexpected events before the game,” Cuper told a television programme on Wednesday.

“We suffer a lot in the last friendly game against Tunisia despite we won, moreover they have a new coach that caused more mystery in their tactics,” the Egypt coach added.

“We currently face some difficulties as some players were rested from games while others suffer from fatigue due to matches’ sequence.”

Egypt, runners-up at the 2017 finals, have been drawn in Group J alongside Tunisia, Niger and Swaziland in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The group champions will make it to the tournament stage in Cameroon in January 2019, along with the three best teams from among those taking second place in the group stage.
