Mohamed Salah adds his name to Liverpool’s history book | VIDEO
Southampton became Mohamed Salah’s latest victims on Saturday as the Liverpool winger scored twice in the first half at Anfield.
Salah’s latest brace took the Egypt international up to 14 goals for the season in just 18 appearances – and sees him make a bit of Anfield history in the process.

Four goals in his last two games have now taken the 36.9m signing above Robbie Fowler and Daniel Sturridge, which now means no other player has scored as many as Salah has at this stage of their Liverpool career.
And given the roll call of greats goalscorers in Anfield’s history, that’s some achievement in his first few months as a Liverpool player.

Eighteen appearances, 14 goals – Salah has adapted to life at Anfield seamlessly, and the jet-heeled winger shows no signs of slowing down.
Liverpool’s club-record signing broke the deadlock with curled effort from the edge of the box before doubling his tally for the afternoon shortly after with a smart finish.
The second goal means Salah has now equalled last season’s top scorer Philippe Coutinho’s haul of 14 in mid-November.
