Ramadan Sobhi scores & saves the day for Stoke against Huddersfield

Egypt winger Ramadan Sobhi was on target for the second game running to salvage a 1-1 draw for Stoke City against Huddersfield in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Sobhi started on the bench before being introduced on 32 minutes, replacing Ryan Shawcross when Huddersfield were leading 1-0 via a 10th-minute goal from Thomas Ince.

He drew Stoke level on the hour mark, sliding at the far post to convert an inviting cross from Joe Allen.

Sobhi scored his first Premier League goal for Stoke since joining from Egyptian giants Ahly in the summer of 2006 when they beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 on Saturday.

At 20, he became the youngest-ever player to score for Stoke City in the Premier League.

“Precious point away from home! Thanks to all Potters who made the trip to JSS today,” Sobhi said on Twitter.
