Egypt getting ready to impress against Saudi Arabia before packing home
Egypt resumed training on Thursday after taking a day off following their 3-1 defeat at Russia on Tuesday, which saw them knocked out of the World Cup 2018.
All the players took part in the training session and no injuries have been reported.
According to a statement on the Egyptian Football Association’s facebook page, the Pharaohs will have one more training session in Grozny on Saturday before heading to Volgograd to face Saudi Arabia, also disqualified, on Monday.
Hector Cuper’s men endured a disappointing campaign after conceding two straight defeats to Uruguay and Russia in their first World Cup appearance in 28 years.
Coach Cuper is seeking to boost his side’s morale before their last game, hoping to lead Egypt to their first-ever World Cup victory.
