Spanish manager, Antonio Calderon, is set to arrive in Cairo on Friday night to start his new job as Nogoom FC manager.
The club appointed the Spanish manager as their new head coach on August 3 following the departure of Diaa el-Sayed days before the league kicked off.
Nogoom FC participates in the Egyptian Premier League for the first time in their history.
Alaa Hassab-Allah, Nogoom caretaker manager, led the team in the first two fixtures of the league.
The club started their run at the league with a goalless draw against Talaa El-Gaish and they ended the second game against Smouha with the same result.
As a player, Calderon represented his hometown club, Cadiz, RCD Mallorca and Lleida at the Spanish Leagues top division.
Calderon started his managerial career in 2002 with Scottish club, Raith Rovers, before he returned to Spain where he managed many big clubs like Cadiz, Albacete, Huesca, Tenerife and Fuenlabrada.
Calderons first game as Nogoom FC manager will be on Aug. 15 against the Arab Contractors.
