Aguirre calls up 11 overseas-based players for Egypt’s match against Tunisia
Egypt’s coach Javier Aguirre has called up 11 overseas-based players for the Pharaohs’ game against Tunisia, in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, scheduled for 16 November.
Egypt eased past eSwatini 2-0 on Tuesday in Manzini to qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
The 12 overseas-based players:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad (Al-Wehda, Saudi Arabia)
Defenders: Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich, England), Amr Tarek (Orlando City, USA), Ali Ghazal (Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada), Ahmed Elmohamady (Aston Villa, England)
Midfielders: Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal, England), Sam Morsi (Wigan, England), Mahmoud “Trezeguet” Hassan (Kasimpasa, Turkey), Amr Warda (Paok, Greece), Hussein El-Shahat (Al-Ain, UAE)
Forwards: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, England).
