Ghana 2-2 Benin – match review – AFCON 2019

Benin proved that squirrels are indeed strong while Ghana did their best to bring the drama when the two sides clashed at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Goals from the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, helped a ten-man Ghana cling on for a 2-2 draw against Benin in their Group F clash at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday.

Ghana was reduced to ten men in the 54th minute after John Boye was given his marching orders following a second yellow card for time wasting.

Mickael Pote had given Benin the lead after just one minute and 44 seconds. He added his second goal of the match in the 63rd minute in what was a rather dramatic night of football. Here are the highlights.
