Face-Off between Manchester United and Liverpool

In a high-drama match, Manchester United hosted Liverpool on last Sunday as a part of the Premier League. United entered into the game from the bottom half of the table and wanted to deliver the best results to lift the mood of the club.

Reportedly, United has so far only collected nine points from the first eight games that they played this season. Perhaps, this is the worst performance of United in the last 30 years and another similar position could build up immense pressure on the team’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Although the team currently stands at 7/2 in the online sport betting when it comes to winning the game, they successfully demolished Chelsea by 4-0 on the opening day of the league. Quite predictably, the team will try its best to spell the same magic.

Undoubtedly, Ole would have wanted a stronger squad at his disposal, but a number of top players recovering from injury has made the things tough.

Anthony might join the team after recovering from a thigh injury, while other names like Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Paul are expected to join soon.

What hit the team the most was the absence of Martial. Reportedly, the team only scored five goals in eight games in his absence.

Meanwhile, Liverpool has made the most out of the opportunity and has cleaned swiped this season. Although United is struggling currently, they are beaten just once by Liverpool in the last 10 Premier League matches.
