KAHRABA unveiled as new Al Ahly SC player

Egypt’s Al Ahly have completed Friday the signing of the Egyptian midfielder Mahmoud Kahraba after terminating his contract with Desportivo das Aves.

Al Ahly official website reported that the former Zamalek’s player joined the Red Devils after terminating his contract with the Portuguese side by mutual consent.

The Red Devils’ official twitter page posted a photo of Kahraba, alongside Al Ahly’s transfer market director Amir Tawfik.

“Kahraba has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal starting from January with Al Ahly,” the official website said.

Kahraba joined Portuguese Liga Nos side C.D. Aves in July 2019 after a disagreement over the validity of his contract with Zamalek SC.

The 25-year old player has been at the White Castle since August 2015, joining from ENPPI, but he spent two years on loan at Saudi’s Ittihad Jeddah.

He made 92 caps with the Whites across all competitions, in which he scored 31 goals, including 13 in the league and Confederation Cup last season.

It is noteworthy that Kahraba’s career began as a youth player with Al Ahly, he made his professional debut in the Egyptian Premier League with Enppy in 2011.

He joined Swiss Super League side FC Luzern on a season-long loan deal in 2013 but left the club in March 2014 after his contract was terminated with Luzern citing inappropriate behavior.
