SALAH on fire with 2 Amazing Goals against Watford | LIV 2-0 WAT
Salah scores two brilliant goals for Liverpool against Watford in the Premier League.
The two sides occupying the extremities of the Premier League table went head-to-head at Anfield with Liverpool on the longest unbeaten run in their history.
All the Reds had to fear was a potential new manager bounce with renowned relegation escapologist Nigel Pearson now in charge of the Hornets.
The hosts didn’t have it all their own way in the early exchanges either, Watford creating a handful of chances.
However, with 38 minutes on the clock, Mo Salah ensured that normal service was resumed with a superb effort.
The Egyptian was being shown away from the goal before he produced an exquisite flick inside and finished it all off with a curling effort.

It all came off the back of an archetypal Liverpool counter-attack which began with Watford giving the ball away in the air.
Sadio Mane thought he’d doubled Liverpool’s advantage with a fine header from a Xherdan Shaqiri cross – but referee Andre Marriner disallowed the goal for offside following a VAR review.
Liverpool were starting to dominate the match. Salah managed to get himself in a couple of good positions but was unable to find the target with either as the game opened up.
As the game entered the final ten minutes Watford were still searching for an equalising goal after an impressive performance that included a number of clear cut chances to get something from the game.
The home side were looking nervous defensively, and a series of mistakes led to a Watford corner after a poor pass back from Virgil Van Dijk almost gifted Watford the goal they craved.
The resulting corner from Deulofeu directly struck the post as Alisson scrambled across his goal. Liverpool survived, but the crowd were on the backs of the Liverpool players.

With just a minute to go Liverpool secured the three points. On the break, Mane’s low ball across the penalty area was miss-hit by Divock Origi into the path of Salah, who audaciously flicked the ball into the back of the net from just a yard out for his and Liverpool’s second of the game.
