Ismaily SC have announced the appointment of French coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa on a long-term contract after interim coach Adham El-Salhadar had taken charge for the previous month following the departure of Serbian manager Miodrag Ješić.
Ismaily had terminated Jesic’s contract following a series of disappointing performances.
The Serbian manager took charge of the Yellows back in August and led them through nine games, winning five while losing the remaining four across the Egyptian League and the Arab Club Championship.
The Yellows have decided to appoint Gomes on a long-term contract to replace Jesic. Before the arrival of the 49-year-old, former club players Adham El-Salhadar and Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha had been chosen as caretakers.
