Mo Salah among top 10 fastest footballers in the WORLD
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been named the seventh-fastest player in the world, according to French news outlet Le Figaro.
Salah is having another monumental season for the Reds, scoring 20 goals while providing nine assists in 40 games across all competitions.
The 27-year-old winger also won two trophies this season, including the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Despite his ability to cover long distances, Salah was ranked seventh in Le Figaro‘s top 10 fastest football players around the world as he was clocked at 35 km/h.
Manchester City’s Kyle Walker and Leroy Sane ranked ahead of Salah at fifth and sixth places respectively while Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came third reaching 35.5 km/h.
2018 World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe topped the ranking with a staggering speed of 36 km/h, which is 0.3 km/h more than Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams who finished second.
