CAF Champions League Semis to be Held in Emirates
A Moroccan report on Friday said that members of the CAF’s executive committee have agreed on holding the CAF Champions League semi-finals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
On Tuesday, the executive committee held a meeting via video-conference and decided to play semi finals and finals of Africa’s two international club competitions will each be played in one single match because of coronavirus pandemic.
The Confederation Cup matches will be played in Morocco, but the venue of the Champions League has not been determined yet.
“le360” website, a Moroccan website, claimed that the members of the executive committee suggested holding the semi-finals and finals in UAE.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt’s Zamalek are set to face Raja, and Egypt’s Al Ahly are set to clash against Wydad in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
