Al Ahly 3-0 Aswan | Match Highlights
Al Ahly managed to maintain their Egyptian League unbeaten start after snatching a 3-0 victory over Aswan at Cairo Stadium in the 20th round.
Geraldo the had given the Red Devils the lead after only nine minutes when he received Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” swung up a well-played cross in Aswan’s penalty area, where Geraldo met it with a powerful head giving the advantage to Al Ahly.
Walid Soliman doubled the scoring in the 84th minute when fired a left-footed shot from the inside of the box to the right bottom corner after receiving an excellent pass from Mohamed Hany.
Aliou Badji sealed the victory when he Amr El Solia’s pass with a powerful shot from the outside of the box to the right bottom corner.
Eight minutes later, Mostafa El Badry came close to level the scoring when he move on, unleashing a left-foot shot, but his ball hit the bar.
Before the break, the Red Devils hit the crossbar after a fine play between the players, before Afsha’s powerful shot from the outside of the box, which hit the bar.
El Shenawy was brought into action in the 70th minute when his brilliant save stopped Aswan from hitting the equalizer.
