Mohamed Salah scored a stunner against Atalanta

In-form Diogo Jota scored a terrific hat-trick as Liverpool made a big Champions League statement of intent with a stunning 5-0 win at Atalanta.

Jota opened the scoring in the 16th minute after unleashing a left-foot shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner.

Seventeen minutes later, Jota double Jurgen Klopp’s side advantage when he fired a right foot shot from the left side of the box to the bottom left corner.

Two minutes after the break, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah scored the third goal, before Mane adding the fourth two minutes later.

Jota netted his first hat-trick with the Reds in the 54th minute to make it 5-0.
