Pitso Mosimane COVID-FREE
Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has recovered from COVID-19 and is set to take charge of his team in their anticipated Ittihad of Alexandria clash.
The Red Devils had released a statement 10 days ago announcing that Mosimane tested positive for COVID-19.
As a result, the South African Manager was ruled out of Al Ahly’s 3-0 win over newly-promoted Ghazl El-Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League as well as their CAF Champions League opener against Niger’s AS SONIDEP.
His assistant manager Cavin Johnson is the one who took charge of both games, but now the Reds will see their manager returning back after recovering from COVID-19.
Just four days ago, his PCR test showed a positive result as he was placed in quarantine in a private hospital, however, his recent test on Saturday returned negative.
He will now take charge of Al Ahly’s upcoming league game against Ittihad of Alexandria on Monday, December 28.
