Even if the Zambian side wins its last match of the group against Raja Club Athletic and Pyramids lose to Namungo, the Egyptians are assured of the second spot as they have beaten Nkana home and away.
Meanwhile, Raja will finish top of Group D after a 3-0 whitewash of Tanzanian side Namungo who will finish bottom of the group.
Elias Haddad, Fabrice Ngoma and Zakaria Habti had the goals for the Moroccan giants who made it five out of five in the group, sitting pretty on top of the log with 15 points.
Raja finished off the job in the first half, thanks to some attacking play and suspect defending from the hosts at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Habti starred for Raja, playing a part in all three goals. Haddad broke the deadlock in the eighth minute when he simply headed the ball into the net from Habti’s freekick after Namungo keeper Nourdine Balora completely missed the ball as he came off the line to collect.
Six minutes later, the visitors doubled their tally when Congolese Ngoma scored his second goal in as many matches with another simple header. Ayoub Nanah chipped the ball to the back post, reacting fastest after keeper Balora had spilled Habti’s low shot.

The impressive winger finally had his name on a goal with nine minutes left to the break when he danced away from his markers inside the box before unleashing a left-foot stinging effort that left keeper Balora rooted to his spot.
The visitors took matters easy in the second half with Namungo fighting for pride, but the score didn’t change.
