Leaders Zamalek will face 13th place Arab Contractors tonight with the aim of maintaining their lead over Al Ahly, even though the defending champions still have 2 games in hand.

Arab Contractors are having a poor season compared to the last term when they finished fourth to earn a place in the African Confederation Cup.

Their disappointing run has seen them slip to 13th in the table with 18 points, just four clear of the relegation zone. Zamalek defeated Contractors 2-0 in their opening league match in December last year.

Zamalek will miss goalkeeper Mohamed Abou-Gabal and veteran left-back Mohamed Abdel-Shafi due to COVID-19 infections. In-form defender Mahmoud El-Wensh is also doubtful due to an injury.
