Zamalek Dominates El-Hodoud with a 3-0 Victory in The Egyptian League

Osorio, the newly appointed Colombian manager, observed the game from the stands of the Military Academy Stadium and is set to kick off his official duties with the team on Friday.

With the team struggling in their current season, Osorio will aim to lead them to a much-needed turnaround. As the two-time defending champions, they currently hold fourth place in the table with 39 points, trailing league leaders Future FC by nine points.

In the 14th minute, Zamalek secured an early lead with a remarkable bicycle kick from their winter signing, Nasser Mansi.

Just before halftime, defender Hossam Abdel-Meguid scored an impressive header, doubling Zamalek’s lead. In injury time, Moroccan midfielder Ahmed Belhadji completed the rout with a well-placed shot from inside the area.

Although Senegalese winger Ibrahim N’Daye was given his first start for Zamalek since joining the team last summer, he was unable to make a significant impact during the game despite his efforts.

The second half of the game lacked excitement, as Zamalek was content with protecting their lead and comfortably prevented Harras El-Hodoud’s timid attempts to close the gap.

Zamalek’s upcoming match against Arab Contractors on Monday promises to be a tough challenge.
