Zamalek’s aspirations to progress to the subsequent round of the ongoing Arab Cup were shattered when they let in a last-minute goal from Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo, leading to a 1-1 deadlock against Al-Nassr on Thursday.

Requiring a win to solidify their position in the upcoming phase of the tournament, the White Knights came within reach of accomplishing their objective as Ahmed “Zizo” Sayed successfully netted a penalty seven minutes into the latter half, propelling them to a 1-0 advantage.

Nonetheless, Ronaldo emerged as the savior for his team, skillfully nodding in an equalizer merely three minutes prior to the conclusive whistle.
