Pyramids FC Clinch Egypt Cup Final Spot – VIDEO

Pyramids FC reached the Egypt Cup final after a tense 4-3 penalty shootout win over Masry, following a dramatic 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

South African forward Fakhri Lakay put Pyramids FC ahead early, scoring just 10 minutes into the match. However, Salah Mohsen equalized for Masry seven minutes before full time.

Pyramids FC faced a tough challenge when defender Mahmoud Marei was shown a straight red card in the 58th minute, forcing them to play with 10 men for the rest of the match. Despite the disadvantage, neither team could find a winner in regulation, leading to a penalty shootout, where Pyramids FC emerged victorious.

In the other semifinal, ZED FC made history by reaching their first Egypt Cup final with a 1-0 win over Ismaily.

Having fallen short in the 2018/2019 and 2021/2022 seasons, Pyramids FC will now face ZED FC in the final on Friday, aiming to secure their first Egypt Cup title.
