Al Ahly will play a friendly game against Atletico Madrid in August.
Al Ahly said that talks are still in progress though, but revealed that a deal is set to be signed and that details of the agreement shall be announced within days.
Al Ahly played a friendly against Bayern Munich last week, losing 2-1 to the German giants in Doha, Qatar.
The club said that more games against high-profile European clubs will be taking place this year.
