Video: Ghaly in Al Ahly | Egyptian Premier League Transfer

Hossam Ghaly has rejoined Ahli on a three-year contract, following his departure from Saudi Arabia’s Nassr by mutual consent.

Egypt player Ghaly, who came through Ahli’s youth system, spent the first three years of his professional career at the Cairo club.

The 28-year-old parted company with the Red Devils in 2003 to experience European football, having played for Holland’s Feyenoord as well as English duo Tottenham Hotspur and Derby County.

Ghaly moved to Nassr in the winter of 2009 but falling-outs with the Riyadh-based side eventually led to his exit.

Apart from Ahli, Ghaly was also approached by Zamalek but he opted to get back to where he kicked off his career.

The holding midfielder returned to Ahli on a free transfer only one day after his deal with Nassr had been terminated on Monday.
