Club Africain invites Zamalek for a Friendly in Tunisia, Zamalek could be visiting Tunisia’s Club Africain in a friendly game next month, assistant manager Ismail Youssef said.
“We received an offer from Africain to host us for a few days in March, which includes a friendly match,” Youssef Said to an Egyptian Newspaper
“There was an unofficial offer from UAE’s Al-Wasl, but we are more likely to go for the Tunisian one.”
Zamalek’s last game with Africain came in last year’s Champions League preliminaries when the Tunisians edged out the Whites 5-4 on aggregate in an infamous meeting in Cairo.
The second-leg tie in April 2011 was marred by uncontrollable violence from the home fans, who invaded the Cairo Stadium pitch when their side were about to be eliminated.
